Location: Ballymena
Pay Rate: -13.0014.50 per hour
Job Type: Temporary, ongoing and flexible shifts available
Shift Pattern: Days, evenings, nights and weekends



About the Role

Prime Recruitment Services is currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Support Workers to work with clients in the Ballymena area.

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support to individuals, helping them maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life. You may be supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health needs or other complex support requirements.



Key Responsibilities

  • Providing person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs

  • Assisting with daily living activities and household tasks

  • Supporting individuals with personal care, where required

  • Encouraging independence, choice and social inclusion

  • Supporting individuals to attend appointments and community activities

  • Assisting with meal preparation and maintaining a safe living environment

  • Following individual care and support plans

  • Administering or prompting medication, subject to training

  • Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any concerns

  • Maintaining accurate and confidential records

  • Promoting dignity, respect and safeguarding at all times

  • Working effectively with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals



Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience within a support, care or healthcare setting is preferred

  • A caring, patient and professional approach

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends where required

  • Ability to follow care plans, policies and safeguarding procedures

  • Willingness to complete an Enhanced AccessNI check

  • Right to work in the UK

Applicants with relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care are encouraged to apply, although suitable training may be provided depending on experience.
