Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience working on large infrastructure projects?
Do you have experience in NEC contract and subcontract management?
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading joint venture on the delivery of HS2 on a contract basis.
You'll be joining an established project team and taking ownership of subcontract packages, giving you the opportunity to work across the full commercial lifecycle, from procurement and subcontract placement through to cost management, change control and final accounts.
Rate: £550-£650/day DOE - Umbrella, Inside IR35
Location: West Ruislip - minimum 3 days per week site/office-based, with 2 days WFH
Duration: 8 months
Requirements:
andmiddot;Minimum 3+ years' experience operating as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
andmiddot;Strong NEC contract experience is essential
andmiddot;Previous experience working for a main contractor
andmiddot;Strong subcontract management experience, including procurement, administration, reporting and final accounts
andmiddot;Experience working on major infrastructure projects, ideally within rail or civils
andmiddot;Strong commercial reporting, forecasting and cost control experience
andmiddot;Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent industry experience
Key Responsibilities
andmiddot;Managing subcontract packages from procurement and placement through to final account
andmiddot;Preparing and reviewing subcontract documentation
andmiddot;Managing interim applications, payments and final accounts
andmiddot;Producing monthly cost reports, forecasts and budget reports
andmiddot;Maintaining effective cost control and supporting change management processes
andmiddot;Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
andmiddot;Working closely with project management and engineering teams to support successful project delivery
andmiddot;Supporting the procurement process and subcontract tendering activities
