The Role
Working closely with Financial Advisers, you'll play a key role in delivering comprehensive financial planning solutions for clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed and compliant suitability reports
- Conducting technical research across pensions, investments, protection, bonds, trusts and inheritance tax planning
- Supporting advisers with complex financial planning cases
- Producing clear and accurate recommendations that align with FCA Consumer Duty principles
- Managing and maintaining accurate client records and documentation
- Ensuring all work meets FCA regulations and internal compliance standards
- Working collaboratively with advisers and the wider support team to deliver an exceptional client experience
To be successful, you'll have:
- At least 3 years' experience as a Paraplanner within an IFA or Wealth Management firm
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, protection, bonds and trusts
- Experience of inheritance tax planning, including exposure to AIM and Business Relief solutions (desirable)
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or be close to achieving it with relevant experience)
- Excellent report writing, research and analytical skills
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- A proactive approach and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality financial planning
