Are you passionate about supporting secondary pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC/ASD)? A specialist autism schoosl in Huddersfield is seeking a One to One Autism Support Assistant to provide tailored, therapeutic support to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role of a One to One Autism Support Assistant :

• Provide 1:1 support for secondary pupils with autism
• Support communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and learning
• Assist with structured routines, sensory strategies, and differentiated lessons
• Help implement IEPs, individual targets, and behaviour plans
• Work closely with teachers, families, and external professionals

We're Looking For a One to One Autism Support Assistant:

• Experience supporting pupils with ASC/ASD or complex SEN
• A patient, empathetic, and calm approach
• Knowledge of autism-specific strategies, sensory needs, and low-arousal techniques
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Understanding of safeguarding and inclusion
