Multi-Skilled Engineer - London

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a market-leading provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our high-performing maintenance team in London, supporting plant, equipment and building services across a busy commercial contract.



What You'll Be Doing

andmiddot; Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across plant, equipment and building services.

andmiddot; Identifying, assessing and managing risks relating to onsite equipment, including updating drawings and identifying critical spares.

andmiddot; Supporting and improving preventative maintenance programmes and ensuring compliance.

andmiddot; Performing fault-finding across a wide range of industrial machinery, heavy plant and overhead cranes.

andmiddot; Providing electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance team.

andmiddot; Working safely on three-phase systems up to 440V.

andmiddot; Maintaining motors, gearboxes, valves and hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.

andmiddot; Using CAFM mobile devices to record and complete maintenance work.

andmiddot; Liaising with Site Services and clients to resolve building-services-related issues.

andmiddot; Acting as responsible person and deputising for the Shift Leader when required.

andmiddot; Completing documentation including risk assessments and method statements.

andmiddot; Supporting ad-hoc duties and overtime when business needs arise.



What We're Looking For

andmiddot; Recognised or time-served apprenticeship.

andmiddot; Strong manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience.

andmiddot; Electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds 236 Parts 1-2 or equivalent (17th Edition).

andmiddot; Mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2.

andmiddot; Ability to fault-find across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

andmiddot; Experience with 3-phase motors, drives and inverters.

andmiddot; PLC diagnostic or repair capabilities (advantageous).

andmiddot; Confident supervising contractors and managing safety documentation.
