Shift Pattern


Rotating Monday to Friday shifts:

andmiddot;14:30 - 23:00

The Role


As an HGV Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of commercial vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring maximum vehicle uptime and safety.

Key Responsibilities
andmiddot;Carry out servicing, maintenance, inspections and repairs on HGVs.
andmiddot;Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
andmiddot;Complete repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines and workshop procedures.
andmiddot;Accurately complete job cards and service documentation.
andmiddot;Work closely with the Parts Department to ensure efficient repairs.
andmiddot;Conduct road tests where required.
andmiddot;Assist with roadside breakdown support when necessary.
andmiddot;Report vehicle defects and ensure all work is completed safely.
andmiddot;Maintain workshop equipment, tools and working areas.
andmiddot;Support and mentor apprentices and trainee technicians.

What We're Looking For
andmiddot;NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
andmiddot;Previous experience as an HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician.
andmiddot;Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
andmiddot;Positive attitude with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.
andmiddot;Full UK Driving Licence.
andmiddot;HGV Licence advantageous but not essential.
