A "Good" secondary school in Leighton Buzzard is seeking a dedicated French Teacher to join its team from November. • Deliver engaging French lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with KS5 experience welcomed.
• Develop students' confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing French.
• Promote an appreciation of the French language and culture through interactive, engaging learning experiences.
• Plan purposeful, well-structured lessons that challenge and support all learners.
• Monitor and assess student progress, using data to inform teaching and improve outcomes.
• Create a positive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and engagement.
• Contribute to curriculum development and the broader work of the Modern Foreign Languages department.
• Support enrichment activities such as language clubs, cultural events, exchange programmes, and educational trips.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching French in a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for language learning.
• Ability to engage and motivate students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
• Confident classroom management and effective communication skills.
